This was our second visit to Mudhen, with the first leaving such a memorable experience of the fresh farm food menu items. This time we opted for Avacado Toast and Green Eggs & Ham Benedict, not before we devoured the accurately named Devilish Farm Eggs. Mudhens deviled eggs set a standard in both taste and presentation.
To drink we opted for a traditional Mimosa, Mudhen also offer a Blood Orange variety of such which we sampled on our first visit and can heartedly recommend as an alternative to the traditional recipe.
Our main Brunch dishes were just as satisfying, the Avocado Toast accompanied with beet-fennel sauerkraut & a soft boiled egg. Whilst the Green Eggs & Ham Benedict came with lashings of basil pesto & a side of fresh dressed arugula.
With so many options on Mudhens menu you won’t be short of something that suits, and the best part is they are all crafted from amazingly fresh ingredients which add so much flavor to the dish.
Our check came to $54 pre tip, which for such an excellent brunch is a bargain. Their full menu can be found over on their website at http://www.mudheninthe.net
